On November 20, 2024, the Tents Regulations (SOR/2024-217) under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act were published in Canada Gazette , Part II. Consequential amendments to the Toys Regulations add fire-safety labeling and flammability performance requirements for children's play tents (“toys intended to be entered by a child”).
