With over 36 years of experience and insight into border security, trade facilitation, customs modernization, and the design and development of Customs and Trade Management Systems, Mr. Thibedeau was CEO and founder of the Ai tech startup TTEK Inc. (sold to Abu Dhabi Ports Group 2023).

Chris previously held leadership roles in Enforcement, Operations and Major Projects with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) where he was awarded a GTEC (Government of Canada Technology Award) gold medal and the Canadian Public Service Award of Excellence for his work leading the design and development teams responsible for the TITAN automated risk assessment system.

Chris is a co-author of the World Customs Organization’s (WCO) Customs Risk Management Study, the Inter-American Development Bank’s Knowledge and Capacity Product (KCP) on Risk Management of Cargo and Passengers, and the WCO’s "Global Container Security and Identification of High Risk Indicators" that served as a core input to the "WCO Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade", and the WCO Risk Management Compendium Volume 2.

As a senior advisor to US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP), Mr. Thibedeau helped to stand up the Office of Anti-Terrorism. Mr. Thibedeau holds a Master's in Customs Administration with significant and extensive expertise in Risk Management, Customs Modernization, Risk Assessment Systems, Advance Commercial Information, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Development, Policy Development, Customs Diagnostics, Border Operations, Electronic Single Window, and Associated Technology Development.

For over 20 years, I have combined expertise in business strategy, operations, product innovation, and legal risk mitigation to advance mission-driven companies. In my work leading global supply chain compliance and ESG programs, I regularly collaborate with teams building and scaling platforms that rely on advanced data analytics and automation.
