The Canadian Apparel Federation is hosting a half-day product compliance and product integrity seminar dealing with regulatory compliance, product testing and traceability for apparel and soft goods. 

This seminar will help remove the guesswork and help improve the level of knowledge and effectiveness of your product compliance, quality control and sourcing staff.  It deals with the regulatory landscape as it exists today, changes that are likely, and also gives you an opportunity to learn from experts and share insights with your peers in the industry. 

Topics:

  1. An overview of new relevant regulations in different jurisdictions, different product standards, etc.

  2. Best practices for complying with the Federal Plastics Registry - updated timeline for reporting for apparel and textiles

  3. Chemicals in the textile supply chain - focusing on recent priority issues such as PFAS, and international trends and requirements

  4. Changes to Canadian law regarding greenwashing - risks associated with these changes to the Competition Act.

  5. A discussion of key technologies that support proactive product compliance.

We are bringing together a diverse group of speakers, all of whom are experts in their fields.
