Regional Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector in Asia

The OECD will hold a Regional Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector in Asia in the week of 5 April 2027 hosted by the Royal Government of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The International Labour Organization’s Better Work Asia Regional Partners’ Forum will be held back-to-back in the same week. This first-ever regional edition of the OECD Forum, hosted in proximity to sector production facilities, will convene representatives from government, business - including brands, retailers and manufacturers - trade unions, civil society, academia and international organizations to discuss responsible business conduct due diligence implementation in garment and footwear supply chains in Asia.
A common denominator of the discussions is the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector. The Forum will support alignment across governments and industry initiatives on expectations of business.

Date: April 5, 2027, midnight - April 9, 2027, 11:59 p.m.
