Join officials from&n bsp\;Public Safety Can ada and BLG for a discussion of Modern Slavery reporting in Canada. \; U nder the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (the Supply Chains Act), many companies must report annually to the Go vernment of Canada the steps they have taken to prevent and reduce the ris k that forced labour or child labour is in their supply chains. \;
The webinar will offer a brief overview and status report of modern slavery reporting in Canada under the Supply Chains Act (frequentl y referred to as Bill S-211). \; This will include an overview of the reporting over the last two years, and suggestions about how to avoid some common mistakes in reporting.
The webinar will also cove r recent efforts to better align reporting requirements in Canada with oth er jurisdictions.
The purpose of the webinar is to ensure reporting companies are best prepared for the 2026 reporting cycle.
